As I promised last week, here's a shot of Joy in the same position as last week, but with shorter hair:
She looks so cute like this I might leave it chin-length until she gets old enough to start requesting different hairstyles herself!
The shadows in this picture would have made for an awesome shot if I was reading my Bible. Alas, most of my Bible-reading is done online these days (and it's mostly Bible-listening); this was fiction. I still like the way the shadow forms a cross on the pages.
There's some controversy about the next picture. I converted it to b&w but left the eyes blue, thinking it made her gorgeous eyes stand out even more clearly. Carl took one look and called it creepy. So, I present you it in all three formats, color, all b&w, and b&w with blue eyes, and leave it up to you, gentle readers. Which do you prefer?
My vote still goes for b&w with blue eyes!

Carl is a nice man, but "creepy"?
I fail to see it. I love colour manipulation like that, so i might be biased.
I don't think I've ever heard of a novel synopsis (for an unwritten novel, I mean- a basic synopsis I can do).
What does that entail? Or is it tomorrow's post? :)
This for a novel I finished last year (the Christian romance), and am just now getting around to submitting. The children's book I've been trying to get published I've always been able to submit as a whole, so this is the first synopsis I've ever needed to write. And I did learn some important tips along the way, which will probably end up as tomorrow's post!
Have a wonderful time Up North :)
I will! Thanks. I'll probably get a peek at your post tomorrow before I leave work.
I think I like the black and white best. It's got some rich warm tones that I really like.
The one with her eyes left in color is a cool picture though. Not creepy at all.
When I played with incorporating color this week, creepy crossed my mind more than once. lol
I like the manipulated picture. It's different.
I like incorporating color accents with my black & whites, but I love the all b&w best! What a gorgeous little girl :)
Her blue eyes are just amazing!
Men! What do they know :)
Carl tainted my view, i was thinking "creepy creepy creepy" before I even scrolled down to it.
It does make her eyes pop! I like all three.
LOVE the light on the HUGE Bible sized novel, very nice!
Love, JO
Beautiful little girl!!
Love the blue eyes.
